A.Z.V.V. Anand Kumar: A very senior Hospitality and Culinary professional and Educator, Mr. Anand is the founder of the institute and is the Principal and Director of Cherry’s. He has been in the field of Hospitality Management for nearly two decades having managed high grade hotel establishments and other major hospitality institutes and had been exposed to the highest standards of professional competence in the field. Mr. Anand Kumar was responsible for the planning and establishing of Cherry’s from its inception and is actively involved in the day to day operations of the institute and ensures smooth functioning of all aspects of the management. Overall Mr. Anand Kumar is recognized by the entire industry and institutional circles of hospitality and the benefit of this naturally succored by the students of Cherry’s.

Chef Sushanto Gomes: An Chef of international repute, Chef Gomes is presently the Executive Chef of The Ramada hotel at Dubai. He was earlier the Executive Chef of the Intercontinental Hotel Crown Plaza in the Caribbeans in South America. He was also the Executive Chef of the Ramada Hotel at Hyderabad and the First Executive Chef of Hotel Viceroy Hyderabad, presently The Marriott Hyderabad. Chef Gomes is in regular rapport with the Director of the institute for continuous maintenance of standards and for supply of information and training resources from abroad.

Chef Salim Shah: Presently Executive Sous Chef of The Marriott Hyderabad, (Hotel Viceroy). Chef Shah has built in three decades of experience in high grade hotels all over the hotel. Having been based in Bermuda near USA for over ten years, Chef Salim has been one of the founding pillars of Cherry’s and in continuous involvement with the students and the Director of the institute for its well being.

Chef D.R. Sreenath : Former Sous Chef of the Viceroy and Green Park at Hyderabad, Chef Sreenath is presently under assignment to a leading chain of restaurants at corporate level in Texas, USA. Chef Sreenath is an expert in Italian and Japanese Cuisines, and is always around when in town for the benefit of Cherry’s’ Students.

Sabitha Melchior: This young lady is one of the finest culinary arts craftsmen Hyderabad has seen. Ms. Sabitha is known in most of the industry for her high level skills in the area of buffet decorations and presentations. An expert artist, Chef Sabitha is a thorough professionaql in the preparations of fine fruit, vegetable, buter, wax and ice sculptures and also in bread art and salt dough moulding, all of which are responsible for enhancing food presentations. She is also an expert baker and has an excellent hand in the making of exotic and elegant wedding cakes and ginger bread displays. As one of the founding team members, Ms. Sabitha’s role in moulding the students at Cherry’s is well worth acclaim. Students are thoroughly chiseled by Ms. Sabitha during their training to an active professional level in this art.
